I've been playing guitar for 35 years and should be good by now. But due to a lack of a natural ability, lack of practice and a ten year hiatus due to personal problems, substance
abuse and incarceration, I have never evolved into a true musician. All I really have is a love of music and musical instruments. I have owned and lost many vintage instrument over the years but due to my present sobriety I have been able to acquire and keep many fine musical instruments such as a Fender Telecaster, Fender Stratocaster, Ovation Custom Legend, Ovation Country Artist, and a Fender Precision bass. I have just recently added a 50th Anniversary Fender Deluxe Stratocaster and a Martin HD-28. Yes, a HD-28! (I filmed the UPS driver when he brought it to my house) to my collection. Backpackers (One nylon, One electric) a Yamaha S3 synthesizer and other keyboards. My keyboard skills are poor but with my advancing age it will look better playing a piano than a Stratocaster. I have been writing music and lyrics longer than I have played guitar but once again due to the above circumstances and my complete lack of vocal ability I have not pursued any of those avenues. I have found that due to the new technologies it has become very enjoyable to record my music and to videotape it for posterity. There is no part of this that is to be taken seriously and is only done for fun. There is no doubt that I have infringed on copyrights and freely borrow video clips for my own silly pleasures and often incorporate them into my video. Please don't sue me.
